Fully Qualified for Safe Herbicide Application

All weed control treatments are carried out by a PA1 & PA6 certified operator, ensuring the safe and professional application of herbicides in line with UK regulations.

This means treatments are applied accurately and responsibly, helping to protect surrounding plants, lawns, pets and hard surfaces while delivering effective weed control.

Using the correct products at the right time reduces the risk of damage and improves treatment success – something that cannot be guaranteed with off-the-shelf solutions or untrained application.

Weed Control FAQ's

We provide professional weed control for lawns, driveways, patios, pathways, gravel areas and suitable property boundaries. Treatments are selected according to the type of weeds present and the surrounding environment to ensure an appropriate and targeted approach.

We can treat a wide range of common weeds, including dandelions, docks, plantain, clover and other broadleaf weeds found in lawns, along with unwanted vegetation growing on hard surfaces. The treatment used will depend on the weed species, location and conditions.

Pricing is based on your lawn’s size, calculated per 10m², so you receive a tailored quotation without having to pay for the entire year’s treatments upfront.

Results depend on the herbicide used, the weed species and weather conditions. Some weeds may begin showing visible signs of treatment within several days, while others can take two to three weeks or longer. We’ll explain what to expect following your treatment.

We use professional herbicides in accordance with their approved labels and application guidance. Children and pets must be kept away from treated areas during application and until the relevant re-entry requirements have been met. We’ll provide clear instructions for your specific treatment before work begins.

A single treatment can effectively control many existing weeds, but it cannot guarantee that new weeds won’t appear. Some established or persistent weeds may require further treatment, while new seeds can germinate over time. We’ll advise whether follow-up applications are likely to be beneficial.

Lawn weed control uses selective herbicides designed to target suitable broadleaf weeds while preserving established grass when applied correctly. Driveways, patios and other suitable hard surfaces require different treatments to control unwanted vegetation.

For customers wanting ongoing lawn care, weed control is also included where required as part of our Emerald Green Lawn Care Programme, alongside seasonal fertiliser treatments to support a healthier, greener lawn.

Many weed control treatments are most effective when weeds are actively growing, typically during spring and summer. However, suitable treatment windows depend on the weed species, product and weather conditions. We assess conditions before application to achieve the best possible results.
